The match is set for Saturday 28 Jan
Match Location is the Maxton Range, 4900 Midway Road, Maxton, NC. The Safety Briefing will be set for 0815-0830 and the Firing Line will go hot NLT 0900. Shooting should be completed NLT 1500hrs.

Sniper Golf will be played similar to the mentality of golf. Quality of shots over quantity of shots. Regards to the name, Sniper Golf is just the way we score it. You aren’t shooting for bullseyes, x’s, 10′s, or 9′s… You’re shooting for hits and trying not to get misses.

You will require no more than 50rds max for the match (maybe more if time permits at the end of the day and you want to blast away at some steel).

A perfect clean shot match will be 41 shots.

You will be required to carry all gear on you at all times (we will be moving around the range… If you want to carry it you can shoot with it if a time limit permits), you must ‘set up’ carried gear in allotted time. Some stages will have equipment restrictions.

No ranging of targets will be required (all ranges given)

Longest Shot will be under 600yds

A few stages may be designed to cause you some frustration.

A shooting sling is not required but would help a lot for this match.

A detachable box magazine is not required, standard BDL type magazine will be fine. Single shot rifles will probably not be a great idea.

A scope capable or hold over and/or dialing elevation is a must

No magnums and nothing over 3100 fps.

Come camp out Friday night… it may be a little cold, but come on out.

No Whining Allowed!

Please confirm with me that you are coming, space is limited so pre-payment is a must. If you already requested a slot I am holding your spot.
You can use the above link to register and pay via paypal or through the checkout function. If the match gets cancelled all fees will be refunded. If you cannot attend I will give a refund unless you no-show on match day.

All set and waiting for next weekend!

I’ll be running an upped barreled AR with match compliant sub-3100fps loads, worked down from my 3,300fps+ .223 50gr Nosler prairie dog load.
The rifle has an Armalite upper and lower with a White Oak Armaments 24″ Varmint barrel and a Armaltie 2 stage match trigger. The glass is a Nikon 5-20x Monarch in a LaRue LT104 mount.
